Ocean of Love

Ocean of Love

Love will not win anything on its own. We need to live in such a way that we make sure that love — through us — wins. – John Pavlovitz

What does it mean when I say we are surrounded in an infinite Ocean of Love? For me, it feels like buoyant energy, sent from on high, absorbed from within, keeps me afloat no matter what. When we tap into this Love energy, if we allow it to be so, we can feel the immensity and enormity of it. For me, it gives me strength to pursue truth in the face of inequities. To find the calm within and respond with kindness and compassion, even when what I really want to do is scream and throw things. So, we all get to allow Love to absorb into our very being, and then allow it to flow through us to every person, and in every
circumstance. Not always an easy task. First love God, then love ourselves, then love others. Or place them in any order of your choosing! The important aspect is to love fully, to love unconditionally, and to love from the depths, width, and breadth of our being. Then, indeed, we can proclaim that we are Whole. We are Complete. We are Perfect, just as we are. What a blessing this Life is!

And so it is.
