A Prayer for Balance
by Marilyn C. O’Leary, RScP
Sitting in the silence that is All-good, and knowing I am one with the Good, I affirm:
Let me not be superficial.
Let me not dwell on appearances.
Let me not worry about money, but know that I am abundant.
Ease from me fear, envy, loneliness.
Fill me with love and peace.
Let me appreciate my life and the time I have in this body.
Let me approach my coming years with grace.
Let me know that loss is a part of living.
Let me treat myself with compassion.
Let me face fear with compassion.
Let me not be afraid to face my fears.
Let me be of service to others.
Let me be aware of what I can do.
Let me treat Mother Earth with love and let me be a steward of the earth.
Let me give generously, knowing I am a conduit for good.
Let me give thanks for all that I have, all that I do, and all that I am.
Let me rest in peace and balance, knowing that it is the Spirit of Goodness and Love.
Amen.
