“Judge not that ye be not judged.” ~ Jesus, Matthew 7:1.

“We must learn to praise and not condemn.” ~ Ernest Holmes, SOM, p. 434

“Praise everything and everyone in your mind, and as far as your mental convictions will demonstrate promptly, speak these praises aloud.” ~ Emma Curtis Hopkins

There is one Life; one Power and Presence; the Source, Sum and Substance of all there is. In these challenging times and unsettling worldly events, I find myself seeking the positive and good in life more than ever, and thanks to Emma Curtis Hopkins, I’ve discovered the gift of filtering what I see, what I hear, what I say through the phrase “praise everything and everyone,” and more often than not that buys me a little time to see all as the God-creation it is; not my opinion or judgment of what it is.

It is in our shared oneness with the one God and each other that I affirm – and practice – the ability to praise each of us, all of us and everything, no exceptions.

It is from this place of praise that I am able to bless instead of blame.  It is from this place of praise and blessing that I am able to forgive instead of judge.  It is from this place of praise, blessing and forgivingness that I make room in my heart to love, accept and praise everything and everyone.

It is with deep gratitude for ever-evolving spiritual practices that I release this prayer of affirmation for the power of praise, knowing it is unto me as I believe.  And so it is!
