Celebrating the C’s of Spirituality
by Carol S. Helms, RScP
Welcome back to my walking, meditative prayer in celebration of the spiritual C’s.
Today and every day I consciously choose constant connection, communion and communication with the Creator of everything and everyone; knowing we are all connected with God and each other.
Today, and every day I live, move and have my being in the confidence and convictions of God; confidently calling forth the convictions of God that are the essence of each of us; vetting my beliefs, ideas, thoughts, words, actions, attitude and feelings through the beautiful spiritual filter that is the convictions of God, before expressing.
Today and every day I surrender to the calm and centering of God that live at the core of my being; waking and walking into the Universe as a calming presence, a centering presence, a connecting presence for the greater good, the common good, the highest good for all Creation.
Today and every day I say yes, God, and align myself with the curiosity, calling and contemplation of the Creator of all that is; eagerly following my curiosity; eagerly pursuing the calling to spiritual knowing, growing and service evolving within me; and showing up every day saying “Thank You, God for all eternity to walk, talk and soar in contemplation with That Which Created Everything and Everyone.”
Today and every day I am grateful for clarity and certainty, merging a clear mind with a God-centered, God-certain heart; forever unfolding in perfection.
Today and every day I cherish communion, communication and conversations with God; knowing that God is always everywhere present, and for that I am grateful.
Today and every day I surrender to the care, compassion and courage of God that is the essence of each of us; and I call forth the care, compassion and courage to come forth and express in, as, for and through all of us for the greater good, the common good, the highest good of all Creation.
Today and every day I celebrate the completeness of God that is everything and everyone forever unfolding in perfection.
And, of course, this time of year, I would be remiss if I did not celebrate the caroling that cherishes our brother the teacher, our brother the profit, our brother the healer, our brother the caregiver of the helpless, homeless and hungry; walking talking; listening learning; kneeling healing; believing receiving; praying and staying on the path of Spiritual knowing, growing and service.
And so it is!
