Saturday was a beautiful day in Albuquerque – it was warm, there was a soft breeze, the sky was a wonderful shade of blue; it was a day to be out and about.

Off in the distance, I noticed a hawk soaring, and as it did so, it sent higher and higher. It appeared to barely flap its wings at all, but instead allowed the atmosphere surrounding it (I am calling it the Presence of God) to carry it higher and higher. It was cooperating with that which was surrounding it. Soon, it was a mere dot in the sky and nearly out of view. It kept circling higher and higher and with no effort on its part; the hawk allowed itself to be carried upward.

I took note of the way it cooperated with the Omnipresence Source of all Power. This was a wonderful lesson from nature; a manifestation of what the Universe does for Its creation, when we cooperate.
