Death Cannot Rob – Prayer for Linda Martin
by Liza Kerr, RScP
“Man, then, if he is to have an immortality worthy of the name, must continue, as he now is, beyond the grave. DEATH CANNOT ROB HIM OF ANYTHING IF HE BE IMMORTAL.” Earnest Holmes – Science of Mind.
My dear friend Linda Martin made her transition recently. In the weeks before her death, I was deeply touched by her presence. She had made peace within herself and it radiated from her like a beacon. Her spiritual essence, that thing that we know continues on its immortal journey was glowing. She was beautiful beyond words. This prayer is for Linda.
There is one God, that God is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent. That God is Immortal. There is nothing that is not God. That God is Timeless, slipping in and out, through and under the construct of time. That God, my God, is Love, Peace, Harmony, Joy.
There is one life, that life is God’s life, that life is my life now. I choose to recognize my connection to God. There is no separation between from God, for the innermost God and the outermost God are one and the same. When I look for God, I look inside and listen to the quiet voice. Simply, I AM. If this is true for me it is true for Linda and for each of you.
I speak my Word and Word is Law that my friend Linda has continued on her journey easily and effortlessly. As she let go here she began somewhere, sometime else, this end marking a new beginning. I rejoice knowing that Linda is at peace, and has been welcomed with loving arms into the next phase of her immortal life. As one door closes another opens. I know for Linda that everything that made her special here is with her easing her path in her new life. She packed her metaphorical bag, put on her dancing shoes and did a snappy jazz step routine into the next realm. I know for Linda that she has a complete remembrance of the essence of her being. She accomplished what she set out to do here and is taking what she has learned as a blessing and a gift for her new friends and family. I speak my word for her partner Stephen, that he is Love, Peace, Harmony, Prosperity and Abundance. I know for him joy and happiness, knowing that Linda’s Love is eternal and everlasting.
I give thanks for knowing Linda, she was my friend and I loved her. I am grateful for the time we spent together, and for all of the things that she taught me. I am especially grateful for the soul gazing we did when we first met. It touched me to the depths of my soul and created a bond that has never been broken.
I release this prayer to the Law of Mind knowing that it cannot come back to me void. And So It Is!
