“Healing The Children”

Today is the first day of the rest of my life and, knowing this, I call Life. I recognize It and know that It arrives in all of Its Beauty, Love, Grace, Harmony, Abundance, Health, and Creativity. It arrives in the first breath of the newborn babe and in the last breath of the person leaving this life. It is all the breaths in between and it is hidden in laughter, joy, hope, goodness, and freedom. Life is known in so many ways and by so many names. Yet, Life is all there is now and always.
My life is all that I know. I feel it in every way – joy, happiness, a job well done, sadness, friendship, love. My life is the part of me that joins with my Creator and every other person and it is the place where all of us meet. I am one with Life for I cannot and have never been separate. As I know this for me, I know this for every person that reads this prayer. Each of us is the breath of Life.
Now I speak a special word for children; for people who are children in this moment and for the child in each of us who still yearns to be heard and healed. I affirm and declare every child joins with Life so perfectly and profoundly that love becomes the order of the day. As each child is loved, the hurt, the imbalance, the imperfection caused by the wayward energy of love’s misuse falls away. Each child is healed and the child in each of us is healed.
No longer do any of us re-create fear and, instead, each of us seizes the energy of Love and becomes that person each of us was intended to be. I am certain of the Love each of us knows and certain that Love and Life restores all things and makes all things whole. I am so grateful.
I am thankful for this Life and for all of my experiences including the good and the seemingly bad. I am grateful for the people I love and for those that love me and, most of all, I am grateful for this love affair I have with God. The ebb and flow of Life carries me with it and I enjoy the ride!
And now I release my word back into God because that’s where it originated. And so it is. Amen.
