I am the Prayer

I am the Prayer
by Rev. Martha Quintana, Senior Minister

There is a prayer in me longing to be prayed. This prayer looks out through my eyes and notices the beauty of the setting sun. It notices that when I do something just right, peace is restored. Love is restored and I am, once more, sitting in the middle of a blessing — when I pray. Here is this prayer:

One Life blesses itself every time It creates. It blesses all that It knows and what It knows, It creates. This One Life, known by names spoken loudly and names yet to be discovered, arrives front and center once It is recognized. One Life is Peace, Love, Joy, Happiness, Great Enthusiasm, Grace, and Happy Belonging. Great Life is everything I see and All There Is.

I am one with this Great Life. I am one with peace, love, joy, happiness, great enthusiasm, grace, and happy belonging. I am. As I know this for me, I know this for the person experiencing this prayer, the person who knows he or she is the prayer being prayed.

I affirm, with passion and enthusiasm, a love so profound and blessed that it heals any thoughts that stand in the way of my experience of the Divine. No longer am I separate or afraid. I am one with Life and know this life profoundly. I accept health. I accept love. I accept goodness, kindness, and prosperity. I accept friendship and I accept peace. Whatever illusion of woundedness, that surfaces now or in the future, falls away never to return. I stand in the truth of my being and experience the truth of my existence. Truly I am one with the one. I am the prayer of my prayer.

Gratitude finds me and I am thankful. I know that I am happy, whole, and complete. I stand in gratitude for my family, friends, and spiritual community. A circle of goodness and blessing surrounds me wherever I go and I am happy. Thank you, Life! I now release my word knowing it cannot return to me void. Y asi es. Amen.
