What is Affirmative Prayer Or Treatment?
Our Global Vision For Centers For Spiritual Living
Rio Grande Center for Spiritual Living
This Sunday, March 10th, 2013
10 AM
Rev Martha Quintana, Senior Minster
“I Fought The Law and The Law Won”
People sometimes ask whether the Law can be used for harm as well as good. Since the Law is impersonal, it can only bring us what we think into it. Our job, if we choose to accept it, is to transcend conditions that may have governed our lives in the past. Anything we think, can be unthought! Join Rev. Martha on Sunday as we discuss the wilderness of our thinking, and how we can live better lives!
Music by Susan Clark
Music Director Susan Clark is joined by
Lewis Winn on guitar/bass guitar and Jay Blea on drums/percussion

I say, “Yes!” to God
Rev Jennie Goff, Minister
Ernest Holmes said, “We are each that incarnation of a divinity, and against each presses the insistent urge that will not let anyone alone because it is there: life and more life.
God is life, everywhere present and all powerful. Everywhere I look I see this life springing forth; it is unstoppable, irresistible, not to be denied. This life is abundant supply, eternal light, bubbling joy, outrageously creative and everywhere present. God is love, harmony, serenity, well-being; I recognize this truth and know that I am one with it. I am one with all that God is—this is my birthright. Every divine quality presses upon me as I awaken to the possibilities that Life offers—a healthy body, a loving partner, friends and family, community. There is an irresistible urge to express and I say, “Yes!” to God.
There is only God so I know there is nothing against me. I am supported in all my activities and intuitively guided with every word I speak. I am a unique expression of Life and without me being me Life is incomplete. The “insistent urge” is simply God inviting me to experience life fully with joy and love. With a grateful heart I say, “Yes.”
And so it is.
Amen.

What We Teach
We teach the Science of Mind, which is the study of Life and the nature of the laws of thought; the idea that we live in a Spiritual Universe; that God or Spirit is in, through, around us; and that this Presence is a loving source of all Good.

VISION
Connecting community to Spirit!
MISSION
We recognize that an inherent desire in every individual is to realize the person God intended us to be. As we realize our true God selves, the greatest gift we can give another is to support him or her in becoming that God person too.
Most important, every man, woman and child who lives in the Universe is significant to the Creator. Our doors will forever be open to all…
