Letting Go of War: Divine Comfort

God is Good. The Divine Essence of Life that I call God is Giving and Kind, Loving and Compassionate. It is Supportive. It is Generous. It is Peace. It is Joy. It is Divine Intelligence. But most importantly, above all else It is Love. Unfettered. Eternal. Unstoppable.
That Love is in me. It beats my heart, pumps my blood, heals my cuts. It blesses. It blesses. At the core of my being, in the stillness, past the frenzy, there is Love Unlimited. It is there for me, the moment I choose to turn my attention to It and once I do, Peace is mine. It heals me the moment I am ready to be healed. It sweeps away darkness. It eradicates pain. It restores Vision. In Its presence, Light surrounds Life. Love envelops sorrow and provides the Comfort of the Great Comforter. And I know that this Comfort is not just for me. This Comfort is for all my brother and sisters, for all God’s creatures. We are all One.
So, in this moment, I affirm Divine Comfort for each and every one of us. I affirm that God’s Comfort soothes us in all the seemingly broken places. I know for each of us that the Love of God lifts us past all the sorrow and reveals to us all the beauty that is ours, waiting to be appreciated. I affirm that Christ’s Vision penetrates our souls and allows us to see past the horrors to the celebration of the human spirit. Any thoughts that cloud our hearts and lower our vibrations fall away and are replaced by the love for our brothers – all of them, even the seemingly misguided ones. I declare for each and every one of us that the beauty of life shines into our hearts and sees past the tragedies to witness how Love and Compassion are present even amid suffering. I affirm that all that we need is provided to us, easily and effortlessly, as we let go of all that no longer serves us. We may not agree with what is happening. We may not like it. That doesn’t matter. What matters is that we hold fast to the faith that God is here. That God is Love and that that Love is our birthright. All of us. Any of us. Now. Forever. Therefore, we release all ideas that induce hell and allow the Comfort of Spirit to swoop in and wow us with miracles. We listen to the Holy Spirit and do what we are guided to do. We are soothed. We are at peace. No longer does it seem as if life is working against us, for Divine Support carries us through our days and illuminates our lives with the glow of Divine Light. Any ideas of anything being amiss slip into the nothingness, as we stand strong in the Light that surrounds us. Peace is ours, for in the arms of the Divine all sorrow disappears. Only Peace is welcome here and it is ours now.
I am so grateful that God is forever present. I give thanks for the Comfort that I know surrounds us and lifts us back into the light. I am thankful that the blocks to the awareness of Love’s presence have crumbled into nothingness and that we feel the Divine Support that surrounds us and shines out from us. The light has come and it has chased away all darkness.
Knowing it is already done, I let go. God has got this. God is good. Life is good, for Peace is an inside job and it is ours once we claim it, and so we do. And once we do, the world reflects it back to us. And so, it is. Amen.
