Letting the Light Out

We already are that which we long to be. The yearning is the indicator of our divine expression. It is the Light within trying to escape. It is our divine birthright asking to share its gifts with the world. The crack in everything, all the seeming imperfections, the heartaches, the challenges – these are vehicles meant to carry us to becoming our best selves. Rather than resisting them, if we can come to accept them, we may awaken to the gift being offered us: the gift of our true selves; of the Light within.
God is in everything. It is the Light. It is the Life-force. Its Essence is Joy. Its Nature is Kindness. It Is the Beauty of the World, but that Beauty is also in what, on the surface, appears ugly. It is the yin and the yang. The Wholeness. It rejects nothing. It is only Oneness, so rejection of any is rejection of all. Let us open our hearts. Let us express the Light within; let us allow It to show us that the hard things are not bad things, there are simply what is.
I am the Divine Expressing. I am the Light. I see that Light in you. It is hiding behind the fears, trembling beneath the twisted idea that you somehow need validation from the outside world. You don’t. You already are enough. You already are all that you long to be. Let the Light out. It is tormenting you with desires that you have tamped down because you thought it noble to sacrifice. You thought it wasn’t time yet. You don’t have enough money. It’s meant for other people but not for you. But none of that is true. It was only the crazy notion that you needed to know “how” to be able to move forward.
I have news for you. Life moves forward anyway and it gives you more of whatever it is you are focusing on. Stop with the How. How is none of your business. Your business is simply to be present. Be mindful. Give up thinking you know what anything is for and quit avoiding the hard stuff. Be open. Be grateful. Be present.
God will handle the detail. Once you have the audacity to claim what it is you want without apology, the Universe rushes in to deliver but it is super-efficient so hold on tight because the wild ride is about to begin. It is not comfortable a lot of the time, it will crack you open. But don’t try to seal up the cracks. Let your light out. The world has been waiting for your gifts.
