Mystics, Sages, and Saints

Mystics, Sages, and Saints
by Rev. Martha Quintana, Senior Minister

To pray, really pray, is to join forces with the Divine Creator. To make a decision that I have in me the same life force that spurs the elements, that creates the sun, that lets all that ever was, continue to be all that is, and all that ever will be is an act of faith so deep, the world is necessarily changed.  I pray and I join my consciousness with all people all over the world who are praying and meditating this moment. This place in consciousness is where people have prayed and meditated since the beginning of time – even mystics, sages, and saints. I join them, too.  Here’s the prayer:

There is One Life. This Life is God’s Life. This Life is perfect. This Life is my life, too.  From this knowing I stand confidently in the power of love and know, know, know with a faith so deep that I am living my most perfect life. I know this deep faith for you, too.

All doubt and negative self-talk slips away and I am free to replace it with love.  I affirm and declare love. This love shapes itself to the experience I desire. I live in peace, stand in love, and speak words of blessing. I love with a passion so profound that it brings blessings everywhere. From these blessings, others are able to love confidently and the world is changed – one love, one person at a time.  It is a good day!

Thank you, Creator! Thank you, Life! I love my life and I love my blessings, both the ones I give and the ones I receive. I love being so blessed that I lose count and I love blessing so deeply that I lose count. Blessings are not for counting but for living. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I release my word, like a beautiful red balloon, into the Ethers where every mystic, sage, and saint has traveled and know this prayer is done. Y así es! Amen.
