New Beginnings

New Beginnings
by Chris Duvall, RScP

Are you in earnest? Then seize this very minute.
What you can do or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it;
Only engage then the mind grows heated:
Begin, and then the work will be completed.  ~ Goethe

I invoke That which Is, Can, and Does:  Creator, Will, Accomplisher.
I acknowledge that which is calling to be done.
I honor that in myself which is willing and clearly knows how.
I release hesitant reluctance.
I claim the first step is complete.
I arise into union with Purpose, Power, and Action.

Having just completed a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle,
I understand that the unmade puzzle starts as a jumbled pile of no-sense.
You have to patiently sort and turn colors, patterns, shapes.
Trial, error and intuition lead to discovery.
Certain pieces must be placed before others find their right relationships.
Gradually strategic understanding dawns, and the whole picture emerges.

A new year with new learning opportunities welcomes me.
I’m a beginner at that which beckons.
So, I claim an engaged will and patience with myself.
I exchange procrastination for aligned action, knowing a strategy will emerge.
I do the work in faith that Divine Love is doing it through me.
Piece by piece I accomplish that which is mine to do.

I’m grateful for the work ~ its beginning, process, and completion.
I bless and release it into Spiritual Law.
And, so it is.
