On Being Free and Unlimited

On Being Free and Unlimited

“And you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.”  (John 8:32, Lamsa translation of the Bible from the Aramaic text.)

How are you limiting yourself?  Are you telling yourself that you are too old, too young, too fat, too thin, not well educated enough, trained in another (wrong) field. too weak, lacking in understanding?  The list could go on and on.

The limits we have placed on ourselves are stronger than any chains or bars.  But they are also the ones that we ourselves can remove whenever we decide to do so.

What if you decided to go ahead and do whatever it is you want to do regardless of your “limitations?”  To just jump in and do it?  To take the class, try the new adventure, meet the challenge, push the envelope, write the book, make the invention, get the degree?

Step out of the box in which you have placed yourself.  Climb over the wall, hike up the next hill, find what it is you are looking for.  You can do it!!!  Begin with prayer and release the fear and the excuses.  Allow the guidance of Spirit to flow into its place.

Take that first step, remembering that as you move forward, Spirit is also moving forward to meet you, providing you with what you need to begin and complete your own special project.

Say to yourself:  “I am free of all limitations  Those thoughts and ideas which have held me in the past are now released and removed.  I step forward joyfully and do what I really want to do, knowing that Spirit supports me totally and completely in all I do.  I accept these blessings now, knowing that this is my truth.  AND SO IT IS!”
