Prayer of Peace

“Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.” —Wayne W. Dyer

I turn inward in this moment to raise my awareness of the One Loving Source, that Divine Essence that animates all of life. In this beautiful city, seeing the mountains, the pink clouds, the sunrise that backlights the hot air balloons and the birds floating in the sky…all the people getting ready for work and taking care of their loved ones…the people sleeping in and cuddling with their cats an extra hour…This is the Divine expressing in the here and now.

Knowing that I am (and each person who crosses my path is) an expression of God, I speak my word to welcome peace of mind and heart. Regardless of other people, conditions, circumstances, or effects, I am at peace and remain at peace.  I am rooted in the Divine and rest in the knowledge that peace is always present for me should I but be aware. I let go of any story or agenda I have in my head that sabotages my inner peace. I remain open to what is, rather than what I think it should be.  I live with great expectancy of the best and highest good, balanced with no attachment to outcomes.  In this deep-seated peace of the Divine, I respond gently with grace throughout the day.

I am so grateful to reconnect with peace, with Divine nature, and with surrender, to remain unflappable and centered in the moment. I give thanks for this Divine quality and welcome peace and grace into my life now.

And I release this prayer of peace into the Law, knowing that the Universe always makes it so in me, through me, and as me.  So be it now. Amen.
