To me, Self- tending is like self-love.
It’s loving self mindfully.
Day in and day out.
Like you’d tend a garden.
We call that gardening.
You could call it self- gardening.
Instead, I call it self- tending.

So it is, you tend and be mindful to the self, day by day.
Checking and tending to your own dear and important needs on an ongoing basis.
Moving into daily practice the insights you have.
For you realize that the love you seek
That you’ve always sought lies first within.

Within yourself is where the love is that you seek.
So, take time to notice what the self wants.
Give to yourself and love yourself,
Fully and abundantly and passionately, no holds barred.
All the way full out like a lover loves his beloved.

You are the beloved.

Listen.
Pay attention.
Hear.
Then, respond.

To ignore is to continue the old pattern of self- denial.
That brings nothing except emptiness and longing.

So, honor the knowing of the self,
The listening to what your precious self whispers in your ear each day throughout the day.
Begin here.
And the rest will come.
With joy and fullness and an expansion unimaginable.
