Spirit is Present: Hot Air Balloon Breath
by Kamatara Johnson, RScP
As I turn inward and breathe deeply the breath that is me, Spirit is present. The One Loving Source is in me, expressing as me, and coming through everything that is around me this beautiful morning. I hear the breath of the hot air balloon over my house and know it is Spirit too. So is the breeze that carries them, the clouds that drift by, the color blue of the sky, the birds in the air, and the people in the basket. We are connected in the One Heart, in the sacred essence that makes up all of this.
Knowing this Divine Oneness, I affirm and declare that my life is floating perfectly in Spirit now. I am supported by the Divine. All my affairs are in the basket, suspended in the Infinite, moving in Divine Right Order. From this vantage point, I can see the next right move for me. I can see the bounty and abundance of life as it is. I have perspective and peace with this Divine view. I trust and allow the Divine to take my life where it needs to go. I move with grace and ease through this thing called life.
So I give thanks for the way this Universe works: that I can surrender to Divine Guidance and know that all is well. I am so relieved to float in my faith that God holds me aloft and moves me along in the best way possible. I appreciate the effortless grace that carries me now.
With quiet confidence, I let this prayer go, like the flames that lift the balloon up and up. I release it all, knowing that God is directing my life as it should be. I allow and accept, give thanks and let go. And so it is.
