The Spaciousness is Within

The Spaciousness is Within

Recently, I set a goal to experience more spaciousness in my schedule. I was just too busy and overwhelmed. Then a few appointments canceled, and without thinking, I filled those open spaces with other appointments. Right back into the busy-busy. The next week, I recommitted to experiencing spaciousness and pulled up my schedule with quite a few appointments on it, but this time I gave up the thought that I was busy. I just had some things to do and people to see. And that’s when it happened, regardless of what was on my schedule…I felt spaciousness. I had precious time to think and process, to respond instead of react, and to walk intentionally through my schedule for the day with the space for grace. I never felt busy or overwhelmed. Busy is a mindset. The spaciousness to be found was inside me, not on my calendar.

So I turn inward, into the spaciousness within, and tap into the Divine. This One Love, One Heart, One Mind is Infinite and so am I. The Infinite Expanse is within me. This is the spaciousness of life that has no boundaries in the time-space continuum. My life expands and contracts to meet all my needs. My finite self is at peace in my Infinite Self. I release any time-space constraints and constructs to expand my awareness into the openness of every moment. I make the space for grace and savor the experience of now.

With a heart humbled at the awesomeness of this Infinite life, I give thanks for this knowing. I feel instant relief as I lay my burden down and realize it was never really there to begin with anyway. I breathe into the spaciousness that is in the Divine in me and my life now. I experience the joy and appreciate the grace of this expansion. I know that all is well. And so it is.
