This Day Made New Anytime

This Day Made New Anytime
by Rev. Martha Quintana, Senior Minister

“The Universe is self-existent, and God comes new and fresh in the perennial springtime of every moment, bursts forth from the timeless infinite into the present incident, carrying with it the wonder, the majesty, and the might and the warmth and color of the Eternal Itself.  Such is the nature of our being.  Every day is a new beginning. Every day is the world made new.”  Ernest Holmes, Ideas of Power

There is One Life; Eternal, Infinite, so old that It precedes Time and is Time Itself.  It is that Energy that springs forth each time It recreates Itself and everywhere I look, I see It.  It is the new leaves, the spring rain, the beautiful tulip formed by its splash of color.  Each time the One Life comes alive, It lives, moves, and has Its way with all of Its creation.  I call this One Life calling to Itself, God.

I am one with God.  I am born of God’s Eternal Life.  I am born of the same energy that creates the tulip, that nurtures the tulip with the rain, and sends light that the tulip might live in its own beauty.  Like that tulip, I live in the wake of my own energy and God gives me all that I need to live my life in the most perfect way.  I am blessed by the blessing of my life.  As I know this for me, I know this for the person reading this prayer.

I affirm and declare a good day.  This day is made new at any point in the day I choose.  I am born again this moment and I live in the moment knowing that God is right where I am in this moment.  I call on the One Living God that I see myself through Its eyes and know that unconditional love in this moment.  This love heals my soul and cures my body.  This love heals my relations and cures my thoughts and this love goes out before me making clear and smooth my way.  I simply relax in the knowing that all is well.  I live in the faith that my God is so large, that no matter the appearance, my life is made whole.

I am so grateful for this day and for this moment.  I am grateful my being is made whole and fresh and that the love I am seeking has never left me.  I am grateful for the healed self and for my experience of goodness and blessing.  Truly, it’s a good day.  I am happy.

With this thought, I release my word knowing this prayer is done.  And so it is.  Amen.
