We Are Who Is God

We Are Who Is God

The mountains are calling and I must go…John Muir

Whenever I venture out into the wilderness and explore, hike, camp, laugh and have fun something extraordinary happens. All of the things I thought I was worried about and stressing over just slip away and suddenly I am living in the moment. Nothing else matters. In no time at all the myriads of things that I had been thinking are gone, and in their place is a feeling of peace, appreciation and joy. To all my fellow hikers, bikers, and outdoor enthusiasts, this prayer is for you.

There is one God. That God is in and through all things, and exists outside of the concept of time. That God simply is. There is nothing that is not God. God is Love, Peace, Harmony, Abundance, Prosperity, and Kindness.

When we experience a quality of God such as Love or Joy, we feel the presence of God. For the innermost God and the outermost God are one and the same – there is no separation. That thing that is God is pulsing through us, as us. Quite simply, we are who is God. I am. You are. Not the creator, but a creation, a masterpiece. Bringing our awareness and appreciation to the experience amplifies it, and gives it a deeper meaning.

I recognize the majesty of God every time I see a sunset, waterfall, new bud on a tree, an ancient petroglyph, or a shining crystal embedded in a stone. God did this! I am so lucky to be experiencing the wonder before me. Everywhere I look another masterpiece. Every plant or animal I see in the forest, perfect in every way. Each person that I am with is bringing their own individualized journey and knowledge to the moment to expand and enhance my experience, perfect in every way. I allow my life to reflect the perfect whole. I allow the sense of peace that I experience to permeate my life and to carry me though until the next time.

I give gratitude for being able to experience such peace and love in nature, for being able to see and appreciate the masterpiece.

I release this prayer to the Law of Mind, knowing it cannot come back to me void.
