What If?

What if my task and yours is to find the hidden jewel?
To know and live the joy in our souls?
To do so despite what we call adversity and difficulties?
What if it is ours to make good in the world?
To be light-filled and love overflowing even when we’ve had hardships and unhappiness?
What if it is ours to shine our light bright so bright
So much so that it fills the darkness wheresoever we may go?
What if the time of pandemic has come
So that we may know the truth despite its capacity to overwhelm and turn our world into disarray?
What if it is ours to stand the tide
And to be the light in the midst of seeming chaos and disarray
So that we may all brighten our lights together and outshine the fear and dismay?
What if it is that our light never falters?
And if it does, so what?
We just pick up and shine anew.
Brighter and stronger and more love-filled than ever before?
Filled with the Infinite Love of the Divine Presence that is in everything all the time.
That Light is what and who we are.
May today be a day to know our jewels
Live them boldly amidst the stir
And shine our light so bright. So bright.
