“I live in the faith that there is a Presence and Power greater than I am that nurtures and supports me in ways I could not even imagine. I know that this Presence is All-knowing and All Power and is Always right where I am”   ― Ernest Holmes

My heart is opened wide as I prepare for my morning practice.  Breathing deeply, I quiet my busy mind, and listen to the solitude that resides within.  I speak to that center of my being, call it God, Spirit, Universe, or Creative Energy.  As I reach for the gap in the silence, I am blessed by the feeling of God’s presence, God’s Love.  For what I know to be my absolute truth is that Love is the connection that I yearn for, the energy that makes my heart sing.  In the stillness, I just take it all in – the beauty, the calmness, the peace, as I am immersed in the flow of God’s nature and presence.  My breathing slows, my mind clears, as I strive to allow this precious moment to expand me.  To help keep me grounded, I silently repeat, “God Is; I Am”.  For I know that the “I” that I am is part and parcel with the “God” that simply is present in everything and everyone.  Omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God swirls around in my individual consciousness, as I glimpse at the connection always present that cannot be broken but can be elusive in my human condition.  With my heart bursting with love and gratitude, I move in the direction of my daily activities, refreshed and invigorated.  I know that as Dr. Holmes stated, this Presence is always right where I am.  To activate the yearning to experience my connection, throughout my day, I silently repeat to myself, “God Is; I Am”.  I am so blessed and grateful.  And so it is.
