The Good Life

The Good Life
by Chaplain Tilia Giron, Ph.D., RScP

Wanting and delivering. Two different things. Can you physically manage and manage well the thing/s you desire, or, simply have before you on your plate?

More than just wanting is involved, right?

The family? The play? The requests? The more? The Whatever?

The fairy tale is over. There is no magic. There are limits. You can’t have everything. No matter how much you want it.

Choices. There it is. It is incumbent: To choose one thing and not choose another, sometimes. Life is that way – sometimes more, sometimes less.

The gift is in the clarity and depth of your insight, vision and honesty, as well as, in your grit. Can you hang tough when need be?

This day, may you know clarity of inner vision  and self-awareness, as Socrates  so eloquently said, and choose wisely.

May you enjoy all these virtues and live the good life today.
