A Prayer for Claiming Happiness

A Prayer for Claiming Happiness
by Rev Martha Quintana, Senior Minister

There is One Mind, One Happiness and It is Perfect. I call it Good. It is All There Is and I see and know It everywhere I look. This Good extends into every sphere, every dimension, and every life. It is All There Is.

Because It is All There Is, I must be made of it. I know that Good knows me and I know It in, as, and through me. Like It, I create all in my own image and likeness, which means I am what I think. Like the One Mind, I create only from myself. As I know this for me, I know this for everyone who reads this prayer.

Knowing full creativity, I declare my own happiness and the happiness of each person who reads these words. I affirm and declare this world is ordered and harmonious. Any confusion, any discord, any ungratefulness or limitation falls away in the wake of the ocean of love that pours over each life. I surrender to this love and know that I am divinely protected and divinely guided. I know the same for each reader.  There is no discord, only gratitude and love. On behalf of each of us, I claim and accept happiness.

I give thanks for the absolute best my life offers. I am grateful for all the people I love and who love me. I am happy that I am alive in this human experience as me. I am happy to be me. I am happy that you are you, too. My word has made it so. And so it is. Amen.
