Lesson of the Bluebirds
by Tilia Giron, RScP
Today, the snow falls
And the air is frigid,
Beyond crisp.
And yet, the bluebirds frolic.
Even dance.
It appears with joy
And frivolity, delight
Seemingly enthralled with the
Toss around and upside down.
What joy!
I can’t help but marvel at
What a way to meet encumbrances
With a full and head-on attitude.
‘Bring it on’ they seem to say with
Relish and excitement
As they hasten to meet the storm.
May I learn from these birds
It’s a matter of perspective.
And so it is!
