Love and Support
by Nancy Bowers, RScP
God is Everything. In, through, above, and below: God is in everything. In this moment of peace, I pause to breathe into my awareness of Spirit, knowing that now, as in every moment, God’s Love and Support are here. It’s everywhere. And it’s everything. When I give up judgment, it is all there is.
I choose this moment, to tune into that Love and Support. I remember that as God is, I am. As God is, you are. As God is, so are we all. Oh, ego would like to exclude. It airs its grievances and tries to sneak into superiority. But when I truly stop to reconnect my awareness to the Divine, I am faced with truth — I do not know what anything is for. I know only that God’s Tenderness loves unconditionally and therefore, I am called to love unconditionally. No judgment about what should or shouldn’t be. None of my own preferences superimposed upon others. Just love and support giving space to allow discovery.
In this moment, I affirm that I am Love and Support. I affirm that you are Love and Support. I affirm that each of us allow one another to be on whatever path we have chosen as individuals. I affirm that our inability to comprehend another’s choices are immaterial. Any fear that is stirred up by the inability to embrace another’s perspective falls away easily and effortless. In its place, the heart opens to Love, knowing that the love is the only thing that matters anyway.
How good it is to open to Love and Support! How good it feels to allow Love to guide, to allow Love and Support to be my only goal. I’m thankful for this prayer from A Course in Miracles:
²I am here only to be truly helpful.
³I am here to represent Him Who sent me.
⁴I do not have to worry about what to say or what to do, because He Who sent me will direct me.
⁵I am content to be wherever He wishes, knowing He goes there with me.
⁶I will be healed as I let Him teach me to heal. (ACIM, T-2.V-A.18:2-6)
And so, I release this prayer knowing that God’s Love and Support are everywhere; I experience them the moment I ask. So, I do. And so, it is. Amen.
