March – The Cycle of Life
by Liza Kerr, RScP
March is my birthday month so it is special to me for that reason. Everywhere I look I see the emergence of life. I see plants starting to peek through the winter soil, poking their little green heads out and breaking apart the soil around them. This emergence signifies the cycle of life; another season, another turn of the wheel of time. Since it is my birth month, it also signifies the emergence of my soul into this time and this dimension. It signifies the beginning of my journey as a living breathing child of God on this beautiful planet Earth. As I sit and reflect on the cycle of life, on birth and on death I ponder the mystery. Since we are immortal beings having a physical experience here on Earth, it follows that when we leave our physical bodies behind we are born into another existence, perhaps another dimension. We are preparing for that journey every day. We prepare by learning and growing and becoming that person that God intended us to be. This preparation is like spending time in our mother’s womb, we draw from life the nutrients, and the sustenance that we need and when we are ready we pass into the next phase of our existence. Death here signifies birth in another time, another place. The journey has no beginning and no end. Although we may not be consciously aware of the greater plan – much like a baby in the womb is unaware of the mother that supplies everything it needs for its journey, the greater plan simply happens. Since we are conscious beings – we can choose the life we live here. Make good use of it.
God is everywhere and is all things. God is Love, Knowledge, Peace, Harmony, Abundance, Prosperity and Joy. God is the Eternal Mystery. God is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Everlasting. God simply is. I know that this life is God’s life, this life is perfect, and this life is my life now. For I know that there is no separation between me and God. God is in me, through me, as me. Just as this is true for me it is true for each of you. All of the qualities of God are within the divine presence that is YOU. No separation. For we know that the outermost God and the innermost God are one and the same.
I claim and affirm this presence of God in me and in each of you. I rejoice at this journey called life and have absolute faith that this human experience is a time that we can choose to become consciously aware of all that life has to offer; that we can choose to allow the divinity that is God to express itself through each of us as an individualization of God. I affirm and declare that we spend every waking minute learning and growing and expressing that essence that is God; that our dreams when we are sleeping are simply a way to work out what lies in our unconscious minds and bring any issue we might have to the surface to help us shape our reality. I claim and affirm acceptance of this gift of life from God and recognize it as an opportunity to do well, to improve, and to use this as an opportunity to evolve into an expression of Christ consciousness. I know that this life is preparing me for the next life. Birth and death forever intertwined.
I give thanks knowing that this manifestation has already occurred and I release my word to the Law of Mind knowing that it cannot come back to me void. I acknowledge and express this prayer by saying AND SO IT IS.
