Radiant with Joy

“The way through the sadness is to use it as motivation and generate a deeper sense of purpose.” The Dalai Lama, The Book of Joy
I breathe in and ground myself in the Divine Presence, which exists at the center and circumference of my being. I recognize this Presence as Light, and know that my very essence is made up of this very same substance. How wondrous it is to realize this, to feel it deep within my core and to embody it daily in the midst of my human experiences. I extend this Light energy to every person and every circumstance by the means of kindness and compassion. Even in the midst of deep sadness and concern over happenings in our world, we can choose to be kind. Even when we do not know what to do to affect positive and meaningful change, we can choose to be compassionate. For that which we embody in consciousness can and indeed does make a huge difference. And so this very day, I choose to look at the world through rose-colored glasses, and see only the good. I choose joy over sadness, love over hate, peace over discord. This then becomes my sacred purpose — to add more joy, more love, and more peace into my every action and interaction with others. I lift these words up into the immutable Law, knowing that they radiate to all people everywhere, as we are all connected in consciousness. In gratitude and peace, I declare: And So It Is!
