Return to the Place of Remembrance

Return to the Place of Remembrance

God is in everything I see.” ~Lesson 29, A Course in Miracles

An evolved soul is always a worshipper of God. He worships God in everything; for God is in everything. God not only is in everything, but He is more than everything He is in! ‘Ye are the light of the world.’ That is God in us. All that we are is God, yet God is more than all we are. The nearer consciousness comes to this Truth, the more Cosmic sweep it has, the more power it has.” ~Ernest Holmes*

Mostly, when I am feeling out of sorts and frustrated by life, it is simply because I have forgotten the Truth. I have forgotten that God is in everything I see. All of life is a blessing. It is for me. It is for you. There is no separation. I am you. You are me. We are all the Divine expressing.

And so I remind myself of these words from A Course in Miracles, Behind every image I have made, the truth remains unchanged. Behind every veil I have drawn across the face of love, its light remains undimmed. Beyond all my insane wishes is my will, united with the Will of my Father. God is still everywhere and in everything forever. And we who are part of Him will yet look past all appearances, and recognize the truth beyond them all.”(From Lesson 56)

My Prayer:

God is everything I see. In the light and the darkness. In the birthing into form. In the disintegration into death. In the ups and the downs, the highs and the lows. God’s presence permeates it all and animates it with Love. That Love is NEVER absent. That Love is forever supporting us, perpetually blessing us. God is in everything I see, but for me to be able to witness the face of love, I must let go of thinking I know what anything is for. I must release all condemnation, all judgment, all notions of right and wrong. It is not that I must embrace immorality, but simply know that God’s perspective is infinite and my narrow view cannot comprehend those things that, on the surface, seem wrong.

I do not know what anything is for, but I do know that God is in everything I see and remembering that allows me to hear the Holy Spirit’s voice and unite with God’s Will. I am here to teach only love but I can’t do that whilst listening to egos’ condemnation of conditions. God is in everything I see.

Lord, bless me with the Christ’s vision. Allow my mind to return to Your Loving Presence. Let me be an instrument of thy Peace. Let me rest in the quiet where Your Voice directs me always back to Love. I bask in the pleasure of Your Love, knowing that listening to Your Divine Guidance always restores my peace. I choose only Love. I relish that God is everything. I treat each and everything person, animal, situation, every moment as sacred, for I appreciate this holy dance. Spirit and I venture forth hand-in-hand extending love to it all. I delight in the music of life.

I am so grateful to remember this. It makes life so sweet, so beautiful, so worthwhile. God is in everything I see. I meditate on the yin-yang symbol and remember that even within the darkness, light persists. How joyous it is to play hide-and-seek with Spirit! I forget who I am and then God finds me and returns me to center. There is no place where God is not and I can never be lost. I am swimming in God and grateful for the sacredness of all life.

I release my word, knowing I need to nothing but remember the truth. God is everything I see and we are all One and loved so profoundly that there is nothing we can do to separate ourselves from the embrace of the Divine. And so it is. Amen.
