The Joy of Prayer

I take this moment and recognize the sweet presence of God in my life. The terms can be interchangeable – God, Spirit, Source, or so many more – but the meaning and the substance remain the same. For what I call God is that pure essence of energy and Divine Life, that Life which resides at the center and the circumference of everything. I see, feel, and realize that this Life is indeed the very breath that I take, inherent in all of my senses as I revel in this unique human experience. So I just soak it all in, allowing this recognition to infiltrate all of my being, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. In this space of being grounded and centered, I offer up this prayer for my general well being. I acknowledge that I am supported, loved and uplifted by this Divine Life, and that goodness flows easily and unimpeded in every aspect and circumstance of my experience. All of the excellent health, prosperity, and serenity are mine now. And since we are all connected in this Oneness, I know that there is no limitation to this perfection, as I simultaneously know these same truths for all who are open to receive them. What a joy it is to understand and express my wholeness and perfection, and to know that it is ever available to everyone! I am aware that my intentions and my words have power, and I believe that this heartfelt- prayer is acted upon by the Universe right here and right now. I am filled with a sense of peace, bliss, and anticipation for my never-ending good. My heart is full, and my gratitude has no boundaries as I accept this good, both for myself and for humanity. Thank you, dear sweet Spirit, for all that presents itself, knowing it is good and very good. And so it is. Amen.
