The Word

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. It was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through It, and without It not one thing came into being. What has come into being in It is life, and the life is the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not overcome It … And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we can see It – full of grace and truth. (Adapted from the Gospel of John 1:1-14)
I recognize Divine Life as the Word and the Light through which grace, truth, strength, comfort, and hope are made possible. I know that I am and all are of this Life. As we open to and align with It, we learn to speak Its words of grace and truth – creative and loving words through which goodness is realized.
In this new year of 2026, I declare understanding and empowerment to speak the Presence and Intelligence of Good into being, in small and large ways. I’m grateful for the Word of Life, spoken anew into Law in this time and place manifesting grace and truth. And so it is.
