This Grand Work of Art
by Rev. Kamatara Johnson
I recognize the Presence of the One Loving Source, that God-Presence that is the essence and animating force of life. God is the artist, the medium, and the work of art all at the same time. So, this life is a grand work of art, and I honor my part as an expression of God. My life is the canvas upon which Spirit paints another divine portrait. We are the art gallery of the sacred in all our bounty and color and diversity. I admire the beautiful creations we are, even as we are still creating, collaborating with Spirit.
In this beautiful collaboration of co-creation, I honor the work of art my life is. I release any limiting ideas or false beliefs that limit my full and authentic expression of my God being. I allow myself to believe in my goodness and my power to be enough and do great things! I fire my inner critic and throw out those old, self-sabotaging stories that stop the flow of my goodness and my God-ness. I throw wide the doors, open the windows, let the light in, and allow the world to see God shining forth from me in all its glory. I hold nothing back and allow Spirit to create in me, through me, as me…all that this world needs. I am God’s handiwork and I allow my life to be as rich and vibrant as God is. For all these things that God is, I am, no doubt about it.
I give thanks for this time of prayer and reconnecting with my Truth. I love the Divine spark within me that is so inspiring and energizing. I appreciate all the bounty that is already in my life and all that is yet to come, as I allow my full self to express as the work of art I am. I love my life as a radiant God-being framed with Love.
So I release this prayer to the Universe, knowing that it is doing its job even as I do mine. My job is to allow and accept, which I do with a full and confident heart. I let it go and know that it is so. Amen.
