I’m in an Easter State of Mind

We know that the Easter holiday is about resurrection. For metaphysicians, resurrection is about awakening the part of the self that has gone to sleep. Sometimes we feel that some part of the self may even have died because of duress, misuse, or lack of use. However, it’s not true! Having and being part of life means that all of the self gets to live no matter what we do or what happened in the past, or not. Put on your best Easter outfit and join Rev. Martha on Sunday as we discover all the life inside of us!

Originally from New York City Michael has lived and performed in the Albuquerque area since 1988. Known for Dynamic style influenced by Jazz, R & B, and Gospel, he has demonstrated a fluidity and command of material from classical to reggae. Whether performing with his own ensemble Maiden Voyage, or performing as a solo artist he electrifies audiences with passion and conviction. [break][break]

Michael Also uses his talents as a lyricist and vocal arranger to several projects both local and national. 2001 saw the successful release of a project origination in Denver Colorado featuring former Earth, Wind, & Fire saxophonist Andrew Woolfolk. During his career Michael has entertained on both concert stages with stadium capacities opening for acclaimed artists such as CoCo Taylor the undisputed Queen of Blues, and more intimate club stages performing with the likes of Kenny Neil Band and the Kinsey Report with equal comfort and command.[break][break]

If asked, Michael will tell you with q quixotic smile that he stopped seeing himself as a “singer” a long time ago, in favor of becoming a “vocal instrument” meshing with instrumentalists as he says” Just the lead soloing instrument of the moment within the music as a whole working towards the same goal: Inspiration, innovation, and devotion.”ring his career Michael has entertained on both concert stages with stadium capacities opening for acclaimed artists such as CoCo Taylor the undisputed Queen of Blues, and more intimate club stages performing with the likes of Kenny Neil Band and the Kinsey Report with equal comfort and command.[break][break]

“With God I Will Make Decisions with Confidence”

In this present moment, I affirm and declare my oneness with the Divine. I recognize this Power, Energy and Unconditional Love of all good and all wisdom. It is a powerful loving Presence always with me. In knowing this I am now open to receive Spirits Truth for me today.

Whenever there are decisions to be made, I allow Divine Intelligence to be my guide. The power of Spirit is within me leading and directing my path. With divine intelligence every right idea flows easily into my consciousness. I move forward with assurance, I know spirit speaks through me with love and understanding. When embarking on a new task or project, I do so with confidence, knowing spirit has provided me with all I need in order to be successful. I put my faith in the One Power that is Omniscient and Omnipresent. Every decision I make today and every day I know is supported and guided by my belief in Divine Intelligence.

It is with great gratitude that I acknowledge the Presence in me, as me, that makes my way clear. So as I release my word into the Law is already done. And so it is.
