Collapsing the Bridge of Fear

“The path of descent is the path of transformation.” ~ Richard Rohr, ‘The Tears of Things’
Dear sweet Spirit, I turn within as I seek solace in your loving embrace. The world in its appearance seems to be devolving into chaos. And yet I trust in some deep and divine crevice within my very soul that as the Bible states “This Too Shall Pass”. Because I know that in its simplest expression, faith always overcomes fear. And so I release the temptation to put a blindfold over my fear, and instead, I look at it with courage and compassion. For I believe that in order to transform my fear, I must learn to honestly and completely look at it with fresh eyes. And then, and only then, can I pass through it into a new place of acceptance and reorder. I remember that in God, all things are possible. Not just some things, or easy things, but all things. I trust the process. Time and time again, as often as needed, I return to this place of center and know this Truth. I believe that this transformation will be a new path forward, perhaps one that has never been conceived of before. And it will be glorious, inclusive and loving, and filled with joy! And the people will sing in the streets and proclaim this holy time of peace on earth. Gratitude will abide in the hearts of humanity! And so it is.
