Containment
by Chaplain Tilia Giron, RScP
Containment, or restraint, is the key.
It is in essence what the Buddhists hold central when they say ‘Walk the middle path.’
It is the Moderation.
It is, indeed, the Non-attachments.
It is the Pause, and it is the Choice.
It is walking the golden line.
It is the use of the prefrontal lobe instead of the amygdala.
It is the Mindfulness before the action.
It is in the Arrival into the Oneness.
I see it is an actual necessary ingredient, not the only one, but one of the essential ones for mastering the Art of Life.
As it is!
