Prayer for Allowing God to Prioritize: Letting Go of Thinking I Know What Matters

“All things are lessons God would have me learn.” Lesson 193, A Course in Miracles

“Let all things be exactly as they are.” Lesson 268, A Course in Miracles

God is. It is the Power and Presense of Being – the Essence of Life itself. It is Light. It is Love. It is Peace and It is Joy. Sometime, It appears ugly or wrong, but all that really means is I have judged what is. I have slipped back into the habit of thinking I know things, of embracing my distorted perception over allowing what is to reveal its beauty to me.

What is know is that I am as God is, for I am forever am expression of the One; whole, perfect and complete as I am, yet entangled in this human expression and therefore, seemingly flawed. As I clear my mind and release ideas that I know what anything is for, I open my heart to the mystery of it all. I get curious. Free of preconceived notions, I offer space to all circummstances. I release the illusion of undesirability. I let go of resisting what is and ask what is beinng offered to me. I know that it is for me. Can I find the gift? What is the lesson?

Let Your Light shine through my judgments, Lord. Let It illuminate my mind with Love. Release any and all egoic notions and let Spirit fill me. May my eyes see the Light. May my heart receive the Love. May my soul rest in the place on absolute confidence in the perfection of what is. Free my mind of the impulse to stuff infinity into form and lift it to the place where it no longer clamors to understand. Beyond the yearning for comprehension is marvel. I find awe. I find peace. I allow God to be in charge. I allow Spirit to guide me toward wherever I can best serve. God is the schedular. I am the lucky beneficiary of the blessings being endowed.

How thankful I am that I do not need to know what anything is for. How delighted I am by the surprises that arrive. God is forever just in time and so I release any and all ideas that anything needs to be other than it is.

And so it is. Amen.
