From Broken to Whole

You should take time daily to rise above any sense of confusion.  As you do this, you will feel a stillness at the center of your being.  – Dr. Ernest Holmes

My mind quiets; my body stills, and . . . I remember.  I allow the impulse of the Divine to wash over me, cleansing, soothing, and comforting me in every and all circumstances.

Sometimes the circumstances of life become overwhelming, and I can feel as though my spirit is broken.  That is the greatest illusion, as we can never, ever BE  broken.  We are wholeness personified.  We are beings of pure Light and Love.

But what, you say, about the feeling of brokenness, how do we combat against that?  First, acknowledge that what you are feeling is indeed real.  We can react to life and its injustices with sadness, anger, regret and fear.  So allow your feelings.  And when you are ready, open your eyes to the beauty, the wonder, the joy — wherever you can find it.  Look into the face of a child, unblemished by the confines of the world.  Gaze at the blue sky, and spot the soaring bird, undisturbed by war or politics or a social media post.  Turn within and drink from the deep font of peace when the noise is turned off.  Hug yourself as you realize “I am Enough”.

The bad moments may still come, but allow them to be fleeting as you return time and time and time again to your center, where wholeness resides.

Feel the gratitude for this day, knowing that you are blessed and YOU are a blessing.  And so it is.
