I present this prayer to you in the first person, so that you may take it in as your own, if you so choose. – Alicia
I take a moment to breathe in the energy of Life, which is swirling around me at every juncture of my experience. Even in the midst of challenges or difficulties, I know that God is present. Even with all that seems to be so “wrong” in the world, I allow for the perfect unfoldment of ideas and events.
As I anchor in this wondrous energy, I am filled with gratitude for all of the journeys of life, both behind me and in front of me. Divine Life, that Presence that never leaves me, even if at times I don’t recognize it. I turn to that Presence now, embracing the feeling of wholeness and peace that it evokes, as I turn to gratitude.
What a joy it is to see the colors of a rainbow, to smell the rain and feel the sunshine on one’s face — yes — to touch the very fabric of Life every day. Each day is a gift; each moment an opportunity to open more fully to God’s presence. What a blessing it is to absolutely know that I am God’s precious child, surrounded in everlasting Love. How wonderful it is to receive and give the simple gift of a smile, or the touch of a hand. And to both give and receive the multitude of blessings of family and friends.
As I trust the process and allow everything to unfold perfectly, I am grateful for seeing the truth of this sweet mystery of Life, opening and blossoming in such perfection. And so trusting the process, I place these words with gratitude and love into the immutable Law, where I know that here, now, and always, it is done. And so it is.
